SULIS FEATURES
Discover the features of the software.
Gen3D was acquired by Altair on May 31st 2022. Sulis will be integrated into Altair Inspire and we will not provide an updated version of Sulis going forward.
Flow

All core features
Import STEP or Mesh files, create primitives, plane, perform implicit operations, mirroring and patterning
Spline-based design kernel
Rapidly design complex networks of fluid-flow geometry for additive manufacturing
Live design feedback
Receive feedback on fluid channels that are overhanging or have a sharp bend
Cross-section compensation
Automatically adjust flowcross-sections to be self-supporting where needed
Surface conforming
Ensure fluid channels follow a Brep or mesh surface with or without an offset
STEP export
Export a fully booleaned solid model of all flow geometry defined in Sulis
Implicit conversion
All flow geometry can be used by our implicit kernel for smoothing or blending
Lattice

All core features
Import STEP or Mesh files, create primitives, plane, perform implicit operations, mirroring and patterning
Surface lattices
Create TPMS lattice geometries with a wide range of unit cell types
Strut lattices
Create strut lattices with one or many combinations of unit cells
Planar lattices
Create diamond, honeycomb or isogrid structures along a plane
Multiple coordinate systems
Select between cartesian, cylindrical or spherical coordinate frames
Volume modifiers
Create bespoke zones of differing lattice properties on the same model
Graded lattices
Smoothly transform lattices properties along different axes
